Exciting times ahead

2017 was yet another successful year for the yard and the winners rolled in on the flat and over jumps.

Look Surprised won very nicely at Windsor and continued to put up some decent efforts before heading home for a winter break.

Lucky Louie continued his trend of being 2nd for the remainder of the season but a winter break has done him the world of good and he has his first run of the season pencilled in for 11th April at Nottingham

Jack Of Diamonds had a very good 2nd half of the year winning twice and notching up 4 placing and it’s great to see the old boy still in training

Kyllachys Tale followed on from her win at Newbury with a gallant 2nd at Sandown and a run away winner at Windsor, she’s a much stronger filly this year so we are hopeful of more improvement

Stonemadforspeed done us proud between August and November notching up 2 wins 4 thirds and a 4th from 7 starts, he ran today at Wincanton but the ground was way to soft and he will be seen to better effect when and if the ground ever dries up

One of the yards favourites Langley Vale had another pleasing season and won nicely at Bath in September

Tricky customer Berkeley Vale earned himself a spin over hurdles, although he schooled well at home he was not impressed when he had his first run and decided jumping was not for him he has had a nice winter break and hopefully he will knuckle down this year

Star of the year turned out to be our little welsh mountain look alike Ernie (Tip Two Win)

After winning first time out he followed up with a 3rd at Windsor 2nd in a listed race at Ripon he then went on to win the Flying Scotsman at Doncaster impressively he then finished 2nd to Elarqam at Newmarket

An invitation to run in Doha in December followed and he won going away by 4 1/2 lengths he was then reinvited back to Doha in February where he stepped up to a mile yet again he didn’t disappoint and won very nicely which booked him a tilt at the 2000 Guineas, he returned home and had a few weeks break and is now back in full training in preparation for his big day in May

Jack Bear made the best start ever for us by winning first time out at Wolverhampton and followed up with a 3rd place, he will run at Bath on Friday

High Acclaim bounced back to the best ever form on the opening day of the turf by winning the Spring Mile at Doncaster, having lost his way in the later stages of last year it was lovely to see him back

We are looking forward to another successful year ahead but certainly can’t complain so far.
