Busy times

The yard has been very busy since our last update, all horses are back in full work apart from Jasani and Swot who have been turned away for a holiday they will be back in the yard around June time.

All the horses have been in fine form during the early part of the season Lucky Louie followed up his win in February with a second at Kempton a third at Doncaster and a second at Salisbury last Wednesday he has been running consistently well for his owners fingers crossed he can get that nose in front before too long.

Jack of Diamonds has put up some good performances since having the blinkers fitted narrowly getting beaten at Windsor.

Agincourt Reef has continued to do the yard proud finishing 3rd at Taunton at the end of April going down by only 2 1/4 lengths on ground slightly quicker than preferred and a trip a couple of furlongs too short, he holds an entry at Southwell next Wednesday.

High Acclaim has put up some good performances none less so than on his last start at Newmarket finishing 3rd, he heads to Doncaster tonight where cheek pieces have been fitted to help him concentrate.

Langley Vale’s first run of the season was Wolverhampton in an Amateur Race and Hugo Hunt took the ride, unfortunately they slightly missed the break and although travelling well throughout managed to hit trouble in running on two occasions it was still a pleasing run to finish 4th beaten 4 1/4 lengths and he will come on for the run, his next intended run is Salisbury next Saturday.

Berkeley Vale accompanied Langley Vale to Wolverhampton he finished 6th beaten 4 1/4 lengths things just not going his way, he reappeared at Bath last Wednesday to win comfortably under Rob Winston

Rosie Royale had her first start of the season at Chepstow at the beginning of May and ran an absolute cracker to finish 3rd she then headed to Bath and the rain fell to her advantage yet again Rosie ran her heart out to finish 2nd just coming up against a bit of a hot pot having had 2 quick runs Rosie will be freshened up before returning to the track.

Runners for the up coming week are Jack of Diamonds at Sandown but his participation is in doubt on soft ground Kyllachys Tale will have her first start after a break at Salisbury next Saturday accompanied by Langley Vale
