IMG_2065Rosie Royale headed to Lingfield on Tuesday and yet again put up another game performance it was a competitive race even though there was only 5 runners the trip was slightly short of her best but she ran well to finish 3rd, with no pace setter in the race George Wood was forced to make the running in hind sight if he had made it a truer test of stamina it may have been a different result as they just done her for a bit of speed in the last 2 furlongs but true to form she battled on well and was coming back at them at the line to go down by 2 lengths.

Howaboutnever has been very frustrating and has had problems with his feet but he ran a lot better on Wednesday at Worcester and actually travelled well before tiring coming out of the back straight fingers crossed he will strip fitter next time and show the ability we know he has

Berkeley Vale a winner last time ran at Newbury today in an Amateur race but with the sun and a strong wind the ground dried up and was a bit on the quick side for him.

Chepstow is the port of call tomorrow with Jack of Diamonds since finishing a very close 2nd a few runs back at Windsor things haven’t quite gone right for him but he remains in good form so fingers crossed for him tomorrow.
