Count Down Begins

Blistering Bob ran an encouraging race to finish 5th he was a little unruly at the start but once in the stalls he calmed down, he was a little keen and was green but he will come on leaps and bounds for the experience

Lucky Louie should be renamed unlucky Louie he ran a stormer at Doncaster and looked set for his first victory on turf only to be run down and nabbed on the line giving him his 5th second in a row, one day it will all go right and he will gain that victory

Jack of Diamonds didn’t go to Salisbury due to the heavy ground, Berkeley Vale took his chance and ran well to finish 5th just getting tired

Kyllachys Tale has her 2nd start at Nottingham tomorrow hopefully her first run bought her on fitness wise she’s a tricky filly as we can’t over do her at home but she’s been going well

Ernie was confirmed today for the 2000 Guineas on Saturday he done a nice piece of work this morning under Georgie and it’s a case of keeping him fresh now, declaration day is Thursday

New Additions

Team Teal have had some new additions in the shape of 7 gorgeous puppies from Mollie our Bassett they arrived last Saturday morning after an emergency C section Mollie is proud mummy to 4 boys and 3 girls, sadly we lost one of the boys but the other 6 seem to be doing well and Mollie is a very good mum.

Finally we have had some nice weather and what a difference it makes just to have some sun.

All horses are doing well.

Diamond Express made her seasonal debut at Bath she was in the stalls for some 7 to 8 minutes while one decided to plant itself and refuse to budge when the gates finally opened she was slow away John Fahy didn’t panic and let her find her stride a furlong out she was still a long way last but picked up and finished nicely to finish 7th beaten 10 lengths.

Jack Bear headed to Southwell to run over the jumps he was travelling up there nicely until making a bad mistake 2 out which put paid to his chances.

Langley Vale was at Lingfield after his winter holiday, still looking a bit burly we knew he would come on for the race, he was a bit keen and as expected got tired around the 1 pole but unfortunately the jockey decided to stand up in his irons and racing post report read eased heavily so not very helpful really the purpose of the race was to bring him on and finish as close as he could we would have preferred he had been pushed hands and heels to the line to gain benefit from the race.

Today sees Blistering Bob have his first experience of a racecourse so fingers crossed he can run well he has been working well at home.

Friday Lucky Louie heads to Doncaster he is extremely well and his winter break done him good let’s hope we can get more 1’s by his name this year instead of seconds

Five Again has her second start at Wolverhampton on Saturday after an encouraging first run we are hoping she can build on that

High Acclaim holds an entry at Ripon and Haydock on Saturday as of yet no decision has been made as to where he goes

Jack of Diamonds and Langley Vale end a busy week at Salisbury on Sunday.

Tip Two Win continues to please in his quest for 2000 Guineas glory he has had a busy week with Racing uk and At The Races coming down to do a feature on him.
